On April 25, 2015, Nova Enrichment Academy (NEA) set-up an 18 feet long interactive booth to showcase some of the activities that children will be performing in our STEM full day summer workshops. At CCE, the highlights included Games on Raspberry Pi, Robot Wars via iPhone, Light and Optic experiments as well as discussions on Space Exploration and Rockets. Off course our famous talking microscope and the potato clock were a hit again.
We were pleased to see that in a carnival where children had rides, snow cones and cake walks, they stopped at our booth and would not leave. It reaffirmed that children will choose educational activities if they are hands-on and FUN!!. We were so happy to see some parents enjoying them too! Overall a wonderful experience that was full of energy. We have posted a large number of pictures from the event on our Facebook page. Take a look!
Catch us next at Moorefield Elementary STEM Night on Thursday April 30th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. We will showcase a new flight simulator and airplane building software to be used in our STEM Middle Aerospace Engineering workshop.
